Rome: Rise to Power

Dear Backers,  

I wanted to update you about the recent final fulfillment stage - the last few SG:  

About three weeks ago we shipped all copies of the last "Revolt!" expansions to our backers through our local postal services. We also fulfilled 2 other KS projects (with similar expansions) through the same services. We shipped 1200+ personal packages/letters to our backers.  

On the 15th of August - Monday, while I was away on a personal vacation, we received a disturbing phone call - it was our postal services - telling us that over 200 packages were returned to our local branch due “failure to meet” random tests.  

I rushed the next day to see these horrific sights:  

Almost 300 letters and packages were returned to us with SIGNIFICANT damages and defects.  

I had to call off my family vacation and return to the office ASAP to deal with this mess. We worked hard and repacked what we could and created new copies for our backers.  

It took a lot of time and consumed all of our energy and leftover budget to redeem this atrocity.  

Last Tuesday - the last few mailings were sent to you guys. I wished I could have posted an update earlier or to bear better news.  

I took the past week off to get some rest and spent some time with my kids.  

I hope you could understand that we tried to do our best to resolve this, if you are one of those backers who is still waiting for your expansion - please be kind and have some more patience.  

I hope that we can move on from this incident and forward to more pleasant news:

Revolt! Fulfillment stage update

Dear Backers,

Just an update to let you all know that we are currently in the process of shipping out your expansions.

"The Revolt!" expansion for Rome: Rise to Power arrived last week at our warehouse and we are currently shipping ~100 expansions a day. 

We should complete fulfillment by early next week. 

Please be patient, as these are being shipped regular mail. If you have not received your stretch goal in the next two or three weeks, please send us a message at [email protected] so we can address the issue.

Quick update for "Revolt!" mini expansion

Dear Backers,  

I wish to give a quick update.  

The SG for Prime Time and the “Revolt!” expansion for Rome are finished.  

We got a confirmation today via phone (China) that they were shipped to us via UPS.  

We expect to get them by Tuesday next week and I will start shipping them as soon as possible.  

Sorry for the delays, 

I hope you will get your 2nd shipment very soon.

Wrapping up fulfillment

Dear Backers,

I wish to update you on some recent events. This past month I was not feeling well, I was hospitalize​d​ and am still recovering. As ​a result, I was ​out of office​ for a while and could ​not​ support you guys as I should​ have​. This is not an excuse - I am just trying to ​get you to understand why I was not as available as I have been in the past. Many sent me PM​s and did not ​get a ​reply - sorry again!

I promise to reply to each and every​ ​one of you and resolve any issue​s​ so you all get your rewards.

The "Revolt!" expansion:

I ​hope to return to work next week ​and be able to keep this production schedule:

• 14 days - post production - proofing and layout of the new cards 7 days - proof printing plates
• 14 days - lead printing time
• 7 days - Shipping from China via express service to our warehouse
• 7 days - fulfillment and shipping to our backers

I wish I had better news - but sometimes it is better to let you guys (and ​girl​s!) know about ​unfortunate circumstance​s​ rather than keeping you in ​t​he dark. 

I hope truly that you can relate and understand, I thank you in advance for your kind support and patience.
